Cookie Policy

Last Updated: July 6, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Cybin Enterprises ("Cybin," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes more generally how we handle personal information.

Cybin Enterprises is a payment-solutions consultant. We are not a bank, lender, payment processor, or money transmitter. We connect merchants with third-party payment processors and acquiring banks, and our consultation and matching services are free to the merchant. This Cookie Policy relates only to our website and the technologies described below.

This policy is intended for businesses and business owners aged 18 or older. You can control the cookies and similar technologies described here using the options in the "How to control cookies" section below.

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember choices you make, and to help site owners understand how their site is being used.

"Similar technologies" include browser localStorage. localStorage lets a website store small pieces of information in your browser so it can be read back on a later visit. Unlike cookies, localStorage data stays in your browser and is not automatically sent to us with every page request.

In this policy, when we refer to "cookies" we generally mean both cookies and these similar technologies, unless we say otherwise.

Why we use them

We use cookies and similar technologies for a limited set of purposes:

  • To make our website function and to help keep it secure and available.
  • To remember information you have entered so you do not have to re-enter it, such as saving your progress on our application form.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use our public marketing pages so we can improve them.
  • We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Categories of cookies we use

We group the technologies we use into the categories below. The analytics and product-analytics technologies described in categories (b) and (c) load only on our public marketing pages. They are not loaded inside our admin area or our secure applicant portal.

  • (a) Strictly necessary and functional. These are needed for our website to work and to provide features you ask for. This includes technologies used for core site operation and security, and functional browser localStorage that saves your progress on our /apply application form so you do not lose your answers. This category also includes the cookie set by our consent-management platform, Ketch, which remembers the cookie and privacy choices you make. Because these are essential to providing the site and the features you request, they are always active and are not used for advertising.
  • (b) Analytics — Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use our public marketing pages — for example, which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive at the site. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to do this. This information helps us measure and improve our website, and it loads only on our public marketing pages.
  • (c) Product analytics and session recording — Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity, a product-analytics tool that sets cookies and records how visitors interact with our public marketing pages. This includes recording sessions of on-page interactions (such as mouse movements, scrolling, and clicks) and building heatmaps that show, in aggregate, where visitors engage on a page. We use this to identify usability issues and improve the site. Like our other analytics, Microsoft Clarity loads only on our public marketing pages and is not used inside our admin area or secure applicant portal.

How to control cookies

You have several ways to control cookies and similar technologies:

  • Your Privacy Choices. We use a consent-management platform, Ketch, to manage cookie and privacy choices on our site. The analytics and session-recording cookies described above load only after you accept them, and you can review or change your choices at any time using the "Your Privacy Choices" option on our website.
  • Browser settings. Most browsers let you see which cookies are stored, block cookies (all cookies or those from specific sites), and delete cookies. You can usually find these controls in your browser's settings or preferences menu. Blocking or deleting strictly necessary and functional items may affect how parts of the site work — for example, clearing browser storage will remove any saved progress on the application form.
  • Google Analytics opt-out. To opt out of Google Analytics across websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on provided by Google.
  • Clearing cookies. You can clear existing cookies at any time through your browser's settings. Doing so removes cookies already stored on your device; new cookies may be set again on your next visit unless you also block them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or for legal or operational reasons. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies and similar technologies.
